Artwork

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. All artwork to be supplied in either PDF, EPS or Corel Draw file formats.
  2. All fonts must be converted to curves / paths.
  3. All colours must be converted to CMYK values.
  4. Do not use pantone or spot colour values.
  5. Do not export PDF’s directly from Indesign as a PDF.
  6. All PDF’s must be created using Acrobat Distiller.
  7. All photographs and bitmaps must be converted to CMYK colour – 300DPI resolution.
  8. The accuracy of the final file supplied for print is the responsibility of the customer.

STEPS FOR INDESIGN USERS TO CREATE PRINT READY FILES:

  1. File > Print > Select Postscript file option (press quality);
  2. Setup paper size to custom; PPD to AdobePDF; all printer marks; include bleed;
  3. Page range: one page for each file;
  4. Print to file;
  5. Open .ps file in Acrobat Distiller to create the press ready PDF file.
  6. Do not export PDF’s directly from Indesign as a PDF.
  7. All PDF’s must be created using Acrobat Distiller.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

Business Cards / Postcards:
- Allow 2mm bleed on all artwork + crop marks shown.

Letterheads:
- Allow 2mm bleed on all artwork.

With Complements Slips:
- Allow 2mm bleed on all artwork.

A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, DL’s, Fridge, Calendars, White Boards:
- Allow 2mm bleed on all artwork.

Presentation Folders:
- Allow 10mm bleed on all artwork for Die cut.

Magazines:
- Allow 5mm bleed on all artwork.
- All magazines are stitched with 2 staples.

Other Notes:
- All artwork printed MUST be approved by the customer before production.
- We will NOT take responsibility for mistakes in artwork that has been approved.
- Payment is required in full for all orders BEFORE production commences.
